Isolated Families, Children suffering during Outbreak Increase, FIA on the Streets.

With Tamil Nadu nearing 150,000 confirmed cases, the lockdown continues in South India and other parts of the country. Reports of entire neighborhoods being blocked off and barricaded with metal fencing because of infections make it difficult for anyone that is hungry or sick to leave for food and supplies.

Precious homeless children accept a meal from FIA

The Friends in Action team is on the streets helping homeless children and families affected by the current conditions. Having seen the struggle of these people, FIA is continuing to distribute food and grocery packets. With the generous support of our friends around the world, FIA just reached another 41 families during this crisis addressing their immediate needs.
