                  Friends In Action (FIA) is a not-for-profit trust that focuses on sustainable, holistic development of the vulnerable and the marginalized. We promote a right based approach and equal participation where everyone is responsible for their empowerment. Together we enable the fight for people's rights regardless of socio-economic status ensuring that quality of life is greatly enhanced.

Our Journey
             Friends in Action (FIA) was founded in the year 2015 when a few like-minded people came together under the guidance of Mr. Gnanasekar, Mr. Anbalagan and Mr. Anandan. The aim was to reach people with their needs by extending adequate support and creating a ray of hope in their lives. With special focus among the rural communities, the goal was to emancipate communities in acute poverty, weaken discrimination, assist in alcohol addiction, combat climate change and to ultimately dissolve violence, abuse and neglect. We know there is still much to do for the betterment of the poor, vulnerable children, women, elderly and the marginalized of society. Additionally, we create the necessary intervention to restore damage caused to the environment and nature due to selfishness and human exploitation.
 
             Friends in Action (FIA) continues to commit itself to the process of connecting the disconnected with the goal of creating a healthy and balanced society wherein everyone is equally respected with dignity.
